EspressBros is a speciality coffee shop in Ashford, Kent, built around one idea: coffee made properly, every single time. We're on Middle Row, next to MA Academy, right in Ashford town centre. A short walk from Ashford International station, and an easy stop whether you live here or you're just passing through.
In 2023, Ashford's coffee scene took a big hit. One by one, the town's best independent coffee shops disappeared, leaving a real gap where good coffee used to be.
That gap is what pushed Lee to start EspressBros in 2024. Not just to open another coffee shop in Ashford, but to rebuild the scene the town had lost, and bring proper speciality coffee back to the people who live and work here.
We're not chasing "best coffee in Ashford" as a slogan: it's the standard we hold every cup to. Our house and guest espressos are roasted by local coffee roasters and rotate regularly, our filter is brewed on a Moccamaster at a precise 1:15 ratio, and every grind is dialled in fresh each morning.
We offer free alternative milk, we're dog friendly, Aussie run, and we take the same care over a flat white as we do over a cold brew.
EspressBros has always been about more than what's in the cup. We're built around the idea of the "third place": somewhere that isn't home and isn't work, where regulars are known by name and sitting down with a proper coffee is a genuine pause in the day.
It's the kind of place Ashford was missing, and now has again, right in the heart of the town centre on Middle Row.
